I did four hours of overtime last night and thanks to the magic of the federal government my check will reflect those four hours at time and a half not at all.
Hey, George! Where are those tax cuts I keep hearing about? Oh yeah, I'm not a billionaire.
Anyway, at the end of every month the pharmacy sends us new pre-printed medication records and physician order sheets. And we have to check them against what we have to make sure that anything that needs to be added is added and any order that has been discontinued is crossed off. In theory that is. Because when you get new admissions (as we often do) toward the end of the month, sometimes the pharmacy doesn't send you nice pre-printed medication records and physician order sheets. You have to make them yourself. This is time consuming and causes great amounts of hand pain. But it got done. And you can't really beat four hours at time and half for sitting at a table and writing.
I have to go in early today. We're having some kind of meeting to figure out how to deal with our wing nut medical director. Seriously, I think she's having a breakdown.
Though now I must depart since I'm taking Karen to the bank so she can give me money. Yay!!
