Nice day off today. I got my pants and my pillow. Had a minor scare when I couldn't find my paycheck. Then I realized I threw it out while cleaning off the desk this morning and had to dig through the trash to find it. Fortunately it was mostly paper (the trash that is, the check was completely paper). I had planned to do grocery shopping, but when I got to the store, it was suffering a rather localized power outage (which seemed only to effect the grocery store and the other buildings it was attached to, but none of the other buildings in the shopping center). All the refrigerator cases were sealed off with plastic and packed with dry ice. It was pretty eerie with most of the lights being off and all the mist in the air. They must have had back up power because the meat counter was still refrigerated. So I picked up the makings of meat loaf.

The meat loaf was yummy and good. After putting it in the oven I watched Prom Queen with Aaron Ashmore (

's netflix). Honestly, if he wasn't so damn cute I would've turned it off half way through. But you know, there he was with his blue hair, and the dancing around in nothing but boxer shorts, and kissing boys.
