So, I've got my trip to New York mostly planned out. I've got my hotel booked. I'll be staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, Times Square, which is not actually in Times Square. But it's close to everything I'm going to want to walk to. So far, I've got tickets for the three shows I'll be seeing. I'm also taking a behind the scenes tour for Wicked, and have purchased a ticket for the CNN tour. I'll be arriving Friday and will probably spend the day at a museum or two. Maybe I'll see if I can finally get out to the Cloisters. Saturday is the big show day. That's when I'll be doing the Wicked behind the scenes tour, followed by a matinee of Wicked and then an evening performance of The Drowsy Chaperone. Sunday evening I'm seeing Avenue Q. I'll probably do the CNN tour then too, and maybe NBC. At some point (maybe Friday night) I want to go to Don't Tell Mama. If anyone has any suggestions for things to do, I'd love to hear them. Also, does anyone know the name of the restaurant where the wait staff sings showtunes?
If anyone cares to join me at any point, I'll be in the city from 10/27-10/30. I'll be seeing Wicked on 10/28 at 2pm, and The Drowsy Chaperone at 8pm. Avenue Q at 7pm on 10/29.
