Ok, I have one little quibble with Heroes. Yes, I know deer don't talk, but when Nathan took off he was moving at tremendous speed. And when you're talking about flying, Humans are not the most aerodynamic creatures in the world. What I'm getting at is that moving at those speeds would cause a tremendous amount of friction. Enough to burn his skin (and don't even get me started about how he managed to keep his pants on let alone intact). So his skin has got to be more resistant to heat and friction than the average Human. So why then, did he burn his feet on the sand when he landed?

I overthink these things.

I haven't seen last nights ep. so I don't know the speeds involved, but unless it's "re-entry" speed, then a more pressing issue would be proper moisturization, particularly on his face. Superheroes have to look good for the camera.
