Just watched The Sarah Jane Adventures. It's awesome. I already like it better than any episode of Torchwood I've seen (which by the way I need to finish). I can't wait for the actual series to start up.
What is The Sarah Jane Adventures? It MUST be awesome if it is better than Torchwood, cuz Torchwood has been wonderful. The production values are so so so much better than Dr Who. And they can act!
It's another spin off of Doctor Who. The main character is former Doctor Who companion Sarah Jane Smith. It's more of a kid's show. She had three younger sidekicks and they protect the Earth from alien invaders.
Have you seen any of the new Doctor Who yet? I'm sure you'd love it. It's a lot different from the classic series.
It is much much better. I don't like the second new Dr and much as the first new Dr. But still, Torchwood is darker and more adult... By the way, that looks just like an icon I made recently...!
I think that's the reason I don't like Torchwood as much. It's so dark. The thing I like about Doctor Who is the light hearted nature of the show. It's like...If the Doctor Who universe was real, I'd be first in line to travel with the Doctor, but I'd run screaming for the gang at Torchwood. That's what draws me into sci-fi, that sense that if it was all real that I'd want to be part of the adventure. Also, I have a hard time reconciling the Jack from Torchwood with the Jack I met in Doctor Who.
