So,
caorann and I attempted to get caught up on Ugly Betty yesterday. Unfortunately for some reason 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' recorded in Spanish. Not sure why. We bought the episode from itunes, but it took so long to download that we went to bed. I'll probably watch it tomorrow. Anyway, I learned some interesting things. One is that I remember more Spanish from high school than I thought. Not enough to really get anything out of the show, but enough that along with the visual cues I was able to sort of figure out what was going on. The other, and I think this is really cool, is that America Ferrera dubs her own Spanish dialogue.
Also, Christopher Gorham is way cuter as Henry than he ever was when he was trying to look all cool on Jake 2.0 and Medical Investigations.

My Spanish is pretty much classroom Spanish. "I am the teacher of your son. He is not doing his homework." "Sit down" "be quiet" "Read the book" "Do you have a pencil/paper" etc
