So at the con I went to last weekend [livejournal.com profile] gvlvr played some Jonathan Coulton for us. Now I'd heard some of his covers (which are awesome), but never any of his original work. We liked the songs we heard so [livejournal.com profile] caorann bought some of his albums. Dude. That man is a mad genius! I'm particularly fond of 'First of May'. I'm very happy his podcast on itunes is free.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] caorann and I were talking yesterday while listening to 'I Hate California' and we came to the conclusion that Jonathan Coulton is actually the mirror universe version of Tony Lucca.

He so is! And now you must dl everything of his off of iTunes. Apparently the reason "Code Monkey" isn't on the albums I bought is that he released a bunch of songs only on iTunes. Or so I am told.

Well, you can buy them as CD's now, but they're free if you get them from his podcast.
