In a fit of financial desperation I agreed to work 7p-11p tonight without thinking about the fact that I'd have to work at 7a tomorrow. This morning the staffing person called and said someone had volunteered to work for me tomorrow, but I know that they had planned to have me orient someone tomorrow and really the person and really the person who would be covering for me is not someone I'd want training someone. Also, see abover RE: financial desperation. As much as I enjoy an extra day off, I really do need the money. So I told her about the orientation thing and also about how I really need the work, but asked her to see if someone else could do the training and I could come in at 11a instead and work until 7p. So she's gonna check into that and get back to me.
