I finally got around to overcoming my laziness and called Verizon to get dsl. I've been using cable, but my local cable company is both unreliable and expensive. I know dsl will be slower but it was also be over $40 cheaper a month and really I'm happy to trade a little speed for that. The hard part will be changing my e-mail at that myriad websites I have accounts with. There's amazon, my credit card company, itunes, my cell provider, yahoo groups, and those are just the ones I remember off the top of my head. Once I get my new e-mail I will be making a post. I'm thinking of getting a g-mail account just for use with websites that require registration in an effort to cut down on the spam. We'll see how it works. That's probably the address I'll give my grandfather too. All he ever sends me is tasteless jokes and chain letters.

I love gmail. It's become my default email address. I use the cable email for registering for sites, etc., and I rarely check it.
