starbuck3614 and I went to see Applause yesterday. It was a wonderful show. Christine Ebersole and Michael Park were fabulous. And Mario Cantone didn't annoy me like he usually does. Also, during the title number they did this awesome medley-type thing where they spoofed a number of broadway shows. I was laughing so hard I almost fell from my chair.

I've been seeing a lot of shows recently. I think I want to keep it up. There was Legally Blonde and the Little Mermaid just before the new year. Then there was Die Mommie Die and now Applause. In two weeks I'm going with my uncle to see Sunday in the Park with George. And I'm making plans with two seprate groups of people to see RENT this spring. I just really love the theater. I just wish it was slightly less of a pain to get into the city.
