Because it means I had an excuse to avoid a visit to my grandparents and unlike my poor sister I was not subject to my grandfather's crack pot conspiracy theories about how Obama won the election.

Among other things that I'm really enjoying about today is this article from MSNBC about how the transition team is already planning ways for Obama to immediatley rescind some of Bush's policies. Stuff like the limits on stem cell research, the prevention of California's strict CO2 emissions standards, and the global gag order on abortion currently imposed on foreign family planning organizations that receive US funding.
