Decided to skip out on Thanksgiving with the family. I'm still sick and what with my elderly grandparents and my aunt on chemo, I figured it would be best to keep my germs to myself. It is going to suck though.

Sorry to hear that, brak. I remember you saying you hoped you'd be better in time for turkey day! The only consolation I can provide is to think of it this way: be glad you didn't get sick a couple of weeks from now, when we will be in NY, and enjoying free beer, (hopefully) handed to us by a scantily-clad Van Hansis. ;)

I'm actually hanging out at my parents' house and they left some food for me. The rest they took to my grandparents' house about an hour away.
