Behold, an icon meme! Fun for all the family!

Do any of my icons amuse/puzzle/confuse you? Point the Offending Creature out and I shall endeavour to explain.

Likewise, should you participate in the above, I shall then rudely point at one of yours and demand you explain yourself immediately!

This one always amuses me. Part because it is funny and also because I don't get the whole 'Clue' thing. Not snarking on you, I promise, it just escapes me. That said I LOVE Madeline Kahn. She was/is awesome.

I don't know if I can explain Clue to you. I think it's one of those things that you have to be just the right age when you see it for the first time. I especially love it because it's one of the few movies my sister and I can watch together. We have wildly divergant tastes so it's nice that can enjoy it together. I'm sure we have the whole thing memorized by now and we still always laugh and at any given moment we're likely to reenact a scene.

I also love Madeline Kahn, and I think she was very funny in this movie. The moment depicted in the icon is a particular favorite of mine.

Please tell me where you acquired this one, and why you don't use it more, because it's HOT.

I believe I got the original picture from [livejournal.com profile] anothersuperboy. It's a publicity shot from the latest episode of Star Trek Phase II (a fan film).

I'll e-mail you the original. As to why I don't use it more often, I don't know. The opportunity just doesn't seem to present itself often. I'll try to use it more.

Ah yes. That one. Well, a bunch of fans got together for [Unknown site tag]'s birthday, and one of the party games involved going to fanfiction.net, finding the worst Harry Potter story we could find and reading it aloud round robin style. I had the good fortune to be reading when the line in the icon came up and after that we pretty much decided we couldn't go on. There was some talk and some mocking and some more talk and the icon was born. Everyone who was at the party got a copy of it. I know some of the others still use it too.

That's a really good story. It makes your icon much more enjoyable, I have to say. Thanks for sharing :)
