I got myself a brand new Motorola cell phone today. FedEx was supposed to deliver it and ask for a signature. Rather, they left it on my doorstep in the rain. Had I not a little overhang above my door, would they have got a nasty call from me! But that was only the start of my new cell phone woes. Nay, that was just the beginning. Verizon's website didn't recognize the item codes on the receipt for said cell phone, and therefore would not send the activation signal. On top of that, Verizon's customer service telephone line is only open until 11pm. Well, I don't get home from fucking work until 11:45pm. So all I could do was send them a nicely worded angry e-mail about how they really should have a 24-hour customer service line. I mean seriously, would 7 more hours a day kill them? It's not even a whole shift. Pheh!
